• Excellence in Academics: Courses at VCS are known for their rigor, scope and depth. Students are challenged to work at peak performance. Success in College Board exams and Advanced Placement classes is the hallmark of our graduates.

• Character Development: Positive character traits of integrity, reliability, trustworthiness and compassion are taught and modeled by the staff. Students are held to a high moral code.

• Biblical Teaching: Every student is required to take a Bible class each year. Weekly chapel times are required, and the teachings of Jesus are promoted.

• Fun: Teenagers love to have fun, and so do we. Learning is fun; organized sports, drama, educational trips, musicals, service projects and class activities are also fun. We sponsor good, clean, exciting, fun activities for all students.
