My role as the guidance counselor at VCS is to encourage, inspire, and prepare you for educational, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth, not only in high school, but also as you leave the familiar and head out into the world. My hope is that you will learn how to trust in the Lord with your plans and goals; that you will grow in knowledge and understanding of the world around you; that you will develop skills and talents that will add enjoyment and depth to your life; and, that your character will be fashioned after Jesus Christ as you demonstrate compassion, grace, and mercy to people in need all over this world. I am excited about the journey I get to share with you. Welcome to VCS!
